do men and women have different skin needs? I've seen skin solutions in commercials to attract only women. would it be bad if a guy used it on his face?
The reason there are different face products is mainly the scent and men have a tendancy to have rougher drier skin than women. So they need a different type of moisturizer. Honestly you would have to tell me what kind of moisturizer was advertised and I can tell you if it is safe for your face.

I’ve always had generally good skin. Recently, I’ve noticed some dark spots and wanted to get rid of them. I started using Ambi for a while, and my skin looks good but I’ve heard good things about Black Opal. I’m wondering if that will do a better job.
I used ambi once, really awful for my skin. The smell was strong and for all the unnatural ingredients I didn't see any change.
I prefer MaMa lotion. It's expensive but literally a dot every other night will lighten your imperfections. Try taking before and after pics, you'll be amazed.
I have really even, clear skin ever since starting to use it and I only need it once in a while now.

I just bought Murad skincare last August 5. Around the first week I noticed that my breakouts minimized. But for the past 2 weeks i have noticed that the breakouts are coming back. Should i wait for a month or more for better results?
I think you should wait about a month. When I started using Clinique products I broke out like crazy and then my skin finally settled down.

I often suffer from spots and am wondering what your face and body skin care routine is, daily/weekly. I only really use moisturiser on my body every once in a while after bathing and only use face wipes on my face before I go to bed and when I wake up. I have never ue anything else and have never exfoliated or anything else except used nivea moisturiser. What are your routines.

It is very important to wash and moisturise your skin (face and body) every day - it's just good basic care. It doesn't have to be expensive! You can be as cheap as you like, as long as you choose products that suit your skin type.
Morning:
Wash my face with Simple foaming face wash
Moisturise with E45 day cream
Shower and moisturise my body with inexpensive everyday body lotion
In the evening I wash my face with Simple and use E45 night cream. but sometimes I'm too lazy to wash my face and use simple face wipes instead!
I also use a face scrub twice a week, and a face mask once a week.
And I also use a body scrub now and then, to keep my skin smooth and glowy!
