Just wondering if the skin care product is doing what it is supposed to or if this is not normal.
Details: I just got Estee Lauder anti aging skin care kit. I am 32 and an ex smoker is why I like using anti aging skin care products. I cleaned, and exfoliated since it had been a couple years since I had regular skin care. I then washed again, then used the moisturizer, under eye cream and anti wrinkle serum. My face turned red but it wasn’t unbearable, just warm. I kept doing it twice a day. The warmth I felt on my skin is still there but not as bad. I then discovered flaking peeling skin, and little tiny blisters. It was like I had gotten a minor sunburn and it was peeling. My skin is normal to oily.

It sounds like you are probably having an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the products. When I am only having a mild reaction, it takes several uses for me to notice - and dry, weird skin is one of the symptoms. The same goes for a friend of mine. We have both had success using the BeautiControl products, although I personally do better with the 20’s+ skin care set, not as much so with the 30’s+ and up. My friend can use any of them. Other than that, I can only recommend switching to products that you know don’t irritate you, using only them for at least a week, and then slowly reintroducing each of the Estee Lauder products, using only one of them at a time and using each one for a week before switching to a different one, in order to figure out which product is causing the problem. Skin allergies can come on in wierd ways and sometimes without a previous history of problems.
