My skin type an oily t-zone, i get the occasional pimple, but nothing bad, i have blackheads on my nose.
so this is my routine: i use clearasil daily face wash(contains no salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide) to wash away dirt, oil.
Then about 3 days a week, i use St. Ives apricot scrub: blemish and blackhead control.(this contains salicylic acid).
Do i need to be using salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide everyday or is my routine good? any other suggestions? im on a budget so nothing expensive, just something i can pickup at walmart or local store.
Hmm that sounds good, before the face wash I would use Clearasil Exfoliating Face Wipes, they are REALLY helpful. Then after the scrub I would get some zit cream (Clearasil works best for me), but don’t rub it in, just leave it on the zits on like a mask.

I’m 20 years old and have never had a problem with my skin. I may get a pimple once a month and I’ve never had a problem with my skin being oily. Lately I’ve notice that my skin is dryer than normal. I know it’s winter and there is less moisture in the air, however, this seems to be worse than normal. What kind product should I use to keep my face smooth without it breaking out?
Dove Soap to wash with, and try Cetaphil lotion (the kind in the tub). It was originally developed for people with eczema and is gentle and very moisturizing.

I mean is it bad for your skin to do a face mask everyday? I’d only be doing it a night…thanks!
If you use a mask too often, it will dry out your skin causing breakouts and irritation, you shouldn’t use a face mask more than once a week.
